Toone double helps Man Utd recover to beat Everton

Manchester United overcame an early goal conceded by England star Ella Toone to defeat Everton and maintain their faint hopes of making it into the Women's Champions League for the next season.

In the 10th minute, Maya le Tissier's backpass was underhit, allowing Katja Snoeijs to take the ball around Mary Earps and score for Everton, who have the lowest goal total in the WSL.

Although England goalkeeper Earps was enraged with her defenders, she almost made an expensive mistake herself when Kathrine Moller Kuhl, who had earlier struck the outside of the post, attempted to capitalize on a sloppy clearing that fell to her.
