City stuns defending champion Barcelona

The owner of the title Barcelona suffered a rare group-stage loss to Manchester City 2-0 on Wednesday, beginning their defense in the Women's Champions League.
In the first half, Man City outplayed the two-time defending champion. Naomi Layzell's courageous corner in the 36th minute gave them the lead, and they had to fend off waves of Barcelona raids to win.
Khadija "Bunny" Shaw, a Jamaican forward, raced clear in the 77th minute, around goalie Cata Coll, and calmly put her shot on the goalline behind a covering defender.
