End of season 'could be like waiting for VAR'

Former Nottingham Forest chief executive Paul Faulkner claims that profit and sustainability criteria have "created chaos" and "damaged" the Premier League.

Forest have been penalized four points, putting them in the relegation zone, after being judged to have infringed the rules.

An independent commission determined that Forest's losses for 2022-23 exceeded the £61 million threshold by £34.5 million.

Forest, who say they are "dismayed" by the result, are anticipated to appeal, with any decision due by May 24, five days after the Premier League season ends.
