Martin O'Donnell knocks out Luca Brecel

At the Welsh Open, Martin O'Donnell upset world champion Luca Brecel to advance to his first-ever major ranking tournament semifinal.

After trailing Brecel for a short while in their quarterfinal match, the world number 76 prevailed 5-3 on the black in the eighth game.


Once again, John Higgins is rejoicing in Wales after defeating world number three Mark Allen 5-2.
