Katie Boulter beats sixth seed Jasmine Paolini

The top-seeded Briton Katie Boulter easily defeated sixth-seeded Italian Jasmine Paolini in straight sets to advance to the Linz Open second round.

Boulter saved all five of her break points in 76 minutes to complete a 6-2 6-2 triumph.


In Austria's round of 16, the 27-year-old will take against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the 42nd-ranked player in the world.
