Ricky Rubio and the ā€œCavsā€, it's over.

The 33-year-old Spanish playmaker and his club have agreed to a termination of contract according to ESPN. Although under contract for two seasons, Rubio will no longer wear the Cleveland jersey. He notably asked to step aside last season to take care of his mental health last summer. Having played with the Timberwolves, Utah and Phoenix, Rubio ultimately did not play many matches with the Cavaliers after a truncated season due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Still according to ESPN, the Spanish international and playmaker could return to the country.
