Rain forces early stumps on second day in Sydney

On Thursday, on the second day of the third Test between Australia and Pakistan in Sydney, play was suspended due to rain.

The third session of the day was ruined by the continuous rain and poor lighting.

Before tea, Australia was only able to muster 116-2 thanks to Pakistan's crucial wickets of Usman Khawaja and David Warner, the openers.

About 45 minutes before the scheduled tea, Marnus Labuschagne was on 23 and Steve Smith was on six when poor light interrupted play, even with the ground lights turned on.
