MKE Ankaragücü ile Çaykur Rizespor arasındaki Türk Süper Lig maçı, hakem Halil Umut Meler'ye sol yüzünün darbe almasıyla şiddet olayına sahne oldu.
Maçın son düdüğü çalındıktan sonra Ankaragücü Başkanı Faruk Koca, bir grup adamla sahaya girerek Meler'e saldırdı.
Meler, maç sonrası hastaneye kaldırıldı ve Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan tarafından telefonla arandı.
Bu olay, Türk futbolunda derin bir krize neden oldu.
