Xavi praises Girona’s Aleix García

Aleix García, a standout midfielder for Girona, has been instrumental in the Catalan club's remarkable start to the season. This week, he caused a bit of controversy when he revealed that, just days before Girona traveled to the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium to play Barça in a crucial La Liga match on Sunday.


García’s words did not go down too well with his manager, but the current manager of Aleix’s potential future team is a fan. Xavi Hernández was asked about the Spanish international’s quotes and said in his pre-match press conference that he likes Aleix and thinks he’s good enough to be a Blaugrana.
