IOC EB approves Individual Neutral Athletes

Individual Neutral Athletes (AINs) who have met the requirements set forth below and qualified via the current international federations' qualification processes will be eligible to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, according to a decision made by the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Executive Board (E. Athletes holding a passport from Belarus or Russia are classified as individual neutral athletes. Strict eligibility requirements, derived from the IOC EB's recommendations published on March 28, 2023, for International Federations and organizers of international sporting events, will be implemented.
