Thousands of people flocked to the Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi to watch the Indian women's hockey team compete in the Asian Champions Trophy. However, they still had a few more Indian players to support even when Savita Punia and company weren't competing. Two umpires received a little cheer each time they led the teams onto the field in a couple of the non-Indian games. It felt like vindication for young hockey players Rama Potnis and Yogita Pasi, who dreamed of playing at the greatest level from an early age. #hockey#championstrophy
