Savita and Co went on to win the ACT

Thousands of people flocked to the Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi to watch the Indian women's hockey team compete in the Asian Champions Trophy. However, they still had a few more Indian players to support even when Savita Punia and company weren't competing. Two umpires received a little cheer each time they led the teams onto the field in a couple of the non-Indian games. It felt like vindication for young hockey players Rama Potnis and Yogita Pasi, who dreamed of playing at the greatest level from an early age. #hockey #championstrophy
