Olympic games
Breaking, sometimes referred to as breakdancing, is scheduled to make its Pan American Games debut this week in Santiago, Chile. This will mark the first time that breaking will be held alongside other Olympic sports at a major Games.
Next summer in Paris, B-boys and B-girls from all across the Americas—four of them from Canada—will compete to earn a spot in the inaugural Olympic breaking contests. Olympic berths are awarded to the Pan Am winners, both women's and men's.
