Pegula ha vinto il Korean Open WTA 2023.

Jessica Pegula, il tennista americano al quarto posto mondiale, ha vinto il WTA Korean Open 2023 sconfiggendo la tennista cinese Yuan Yue con un punteggio di 6-2, 6-3. Questo titolo è il secondo per Pegula in questa stagione, dopo aver vinto anche i tornei a Doha e Tokyo. Pegula si è detta felice di aver vinto questo torneo, soprattutto perché sua madre è coreana. Ha anche sentito un incredibile supporto dai fan in Corea. Questo titolo è anche un'importante preparazione per Pegula per affrontare il prossimo torneo del grande slam, gli US Open.
