The five suspension matches inflicted on the president of HBC Nantes, #gaël#pelletier, by the National Handball League (LNH) for his insulting remarks towards referees, are "insufficient" according to the French Handball Federation (FFH which announced on Tuesday.
Following Nantes' home defeat against limoges on October 8 (29-27), two referees accused Nantes president Gaël Pelletier of having used homophobic words. What the latter contested, recognizing "insulting remarks" but "in no way" homophobic. LNH said she will call a review of the situation.
