Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia 2025, set to roar into life from October 24 to 26 at the iconic Sepang International Circuit, is gearing up for an exhilarating showdown. With an ambitious goal of attracting over 200,000 spectators, the event is keenly eyeing at least 13,000 fans from Indonesia to help reach this milestone. Last year, the excitement was palpable as 184,923 fans filled the grandstands, with 12,000 of them proudly waving the Indonesian flag.

Azhan Shafriman Hanif, CEO of Petronas SIC, emphasized the crucial role Indonesian fans play in this grand vision. “Indonesia is our number one market in the region,” he declared, underscoring the importance of this vibrant fanbase. To ignite enthusiasm, promotional efforts are underway in major Indonesian cities—Jakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, and Medan—ensuring that the spirit of MotoGP resonates far and wide.

In a bid to bolster attendance, Petronas SIC is rolling out enticing ticket discounts specifically for Indonesian fans, making it easier for them to join the electrifying atmosphere of the race.
