Rwanda Women clinched a thrilling victory over Uganda Women in the Kwibuka T20I, showcasing exceptional performances.

In a gripping encounter at the Kwibuka Women’s T20I Tournament, the Uganda Women’s cricket team faced a formidable challenge against Rwanda Women. Uganda set a target of 119 runs, with Immaculate Nakisuuyi shining brightly, scoring 44 runs, and Rita Musamali contributing a solid 36. However, Rwanda’s batting lineup proved relentless, successfully chasing down the target with 120 runs for the loss of just five wickets in 18.4 overs. Marie Bimenyimana led the charge with an impressive 46 runs, while Henriette Ishimwe played a pivotal role, scoring 33 runs and claiming the Player of the Match title for her remarkable bowling figures of 3/23.

Earlier in the tournament, Uganda Women showcased their resilience by defeating Tanzania Women by 20 runs.
