Bridgestone`s dominance shines at Super GT Round 3, with thrilling battles and strategic maneuvers at Sepang.

Super GT Series Round 3 unfolded in a spectacular display of speed and strategy at the iconic Petronas Sepang International Circuit. Bridgestone Motorsport emerged triumphant in the GT500 class, with four Bridgestone teams claiming podium positions. The day, however, was marred by misfortune for Kondo GT500, whose Nissan Z NISMO faced technical issues during the warm-up lap, forcing them to withdraw before the race even began.

The excitement ignited when ARTA Mugen, piloting the Honda Civic Type R GT, became the first Bridgestone team to take the lead in GT500. Meanwhile, WedsSport Bandoh, who secured pole position during qualifying, struggled to maintain their pace and slipped down the ranks as the race progressed. In the GT300 class, Bridgestone continued to shine, placing one of their teams between two Yokohama teams on the podium.

Strategic pit stops played a pivotal role, with Deloitte TOM`S Supra executing a flawless stop on lap 32, propelling them to the top of the podium. The race also featured Velorex with their Ferrari 296 GT3 and apr with the Lexus LC 500h, showcasing the fierce competition in GT300. Meanwhile, Sean Gelael from Paradine Competition 991 fought valiantly in the Bronze Cup 24H Spa despite battling a burning brake issue.
