Gauff defeats Sabalenka in semis

In the WTA Finals semifinals on Friday, American Coco Gauff defeated world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka 7-6(4), 6-3. In the championship match, she will face China's Zheng Qinwen.
Gauff, who made it to her first final at the end-of-season tournament, destroyed Sabalenka's hopes of winning her first WTA Finals trophy, although Sabalenka will finish the year at the top of the global rankings.
