ICC announces record prize money for WT20 WC

For the Women's T20 World Cup that takes place next month, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed record prize money of over £6 million.
The amount of $7,958,080 (£6.04 million) is more than twice as much as the winnings from the 2023 competition.
The winners will receive $2.34 million (£1.8 million), which is 134% more than the money Australia, the 2023 champions, were awarded.
