Florian Wirtz’s return to Bayer Leverkusen

Florian Wirtz, a midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen, sustained an ankle injury while on Germany duty, the Bundesliga team said Tuesday. The team did not specify when Wirtz would return.
During Monday's 1-0 victory over the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League in Munich, Wirtz hurt his ankle and was unable to play again after halftime.
