WC tickets investigation of Valcke closed

The case against former FIFA official Jerome Valcke was finally ended after nine years of an inquiry into World Cup tickets sold on the black market.
The criminal investigation into a purported ticket sale for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil has been terminated, the Swiss attorney general's office announced on Friday.
After Valcke was found guilty of some crimes and acquitted of others at two trials, other criminal proceedings that once linked him to a broad Swiss investigation of FIFA operations have also been terminated, albeit one is now pending appeal.
