Fight fans have eagerly anticipated a clash between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic, with Miocic widely regarded as the heavyweight "G.O.A.T." The long-awaited showdown is now a reality, scheduled to unfold at the iconic Madison Square Garden on November 11 during UFC 295, where Jones will defend his UFC heavyweight title.

A former national wrestling champion, Jones transitioned to the professional scene in 2008 and subsequently joined the UFC after six battles. He asserted his dominance in the UFC light heavyweight division at various junctures between 2011 and 2020, albeit disrupted by legal troubles and failed drug tests. The moniker "Bones" has been synonymous with invincibility since 2010, and he relinquished his light heavyweight crown in 2020. His quest to face then-UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou was marred by negotiations with UFC CEO Dana White over fight purses that ultimately led to a stalemate.

Jones remained absent from the octagon for three years, making his triumphant return in 2023 after Ngannou's departure from the organization. In March, he challenged Ciryl Gane for the UFC heavyweight title, dispatching him in the opening round to clinch a two-division championship.

Hailing from Rochester, Jones now headlines his maiden showdown at The Garden, aiming to silence any lingering doubts about his supremacy by taking on Miocic.
