Tony Popovic Appointed Australia National Team Coach

Tony Popovic has been named the new head coach of the Australian national team, replacing Graham Arnold after poor results in the World Cup 2026 qualifiers. The 51-year-old former player and Asian Champions League winner faces the challenge of improving Australia's standing in Group C, where they are currently fifth. Popovic, who has 58 caps for the Socceroos, will bring his extensive coaching experience to the role.
