UFC agrees new £281m payment to former fighters
A $375 million (£281 million) settlement has been reached between TKO Group, the parent company of the UFC, and one of two court actions involving over 1,200 former UFC competitors.
The group of ex-fighters contends that athletes' rights to explore alternative promotional opportunities were stifled by UFC contracts.
Judge Richard Boulware rejected TKO Group's original £263 million settlement in March, stating the amount was too low.
