Woods will try but those he inspired will triumph

Tiger Woods was a magnificent, iconic figure as he up the steep slope from the seventh green, reaching one of the most well-known locations in golf: the teeing ground for the hole known as the "Postage Stamp."

His right foot required reconstruction after he almost lost his leg in an automobile accident, and his back has long since undergone surgery to fuse it together, so there's an uneasy feeling to his step.
