Tvesa Malik of India opened the Ladies European Tour event at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open with a 3-under 68 total in the first round.

At Golfpark Holzhausern, Tvesa, who is returning from a state of poor form, finished the opening round with four birdies and one bogey.

Only Seher Atwal, one of the Indian competitors, had completed the round at 6-over 77; Vani Kapoor, Ridhima Dilawari, and Amandeep Drall had only just begun.
