Perricard beats Shelton to win Swiss Indoors

Global No. 50 In Basel on Sunday, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard defeated Ben Shelton 6-4, 7-6(4) to win his maiden ATP 500 title.
The 21-year-old Frenchman won the ATP 250 tournament in Lyon in the spring and added the championship in less than an hour and a half.
Since Basel became a tour-level competition in 1975, he has been the lowest-ranked winner.
