Panthers beat Oilers to claim first Stanley Cup

For the first time in their franchise's existence, the Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers to win the Stanley Cup.

After Mattias Janmark's goal, Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Reinhart scored for the Panthers to complete a 2-1 victory and 4-3 series triumph.

Despite being behind 3-0 in the series, the Oilers battled back to force a decisive game.
