Shelton beats Fils to take on Perricard in finals

At the Swiss Indoors on Saturday, Ben Shelton defeated his doubles partner Arthur Fils. He will now play another Frenchman, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, in the championship match.Sixth-seeded Shelton overcame No. 7 Fils 6-3, 7-6 (9), after trailing 6-3 in the semifinal tiebreak.
On the court, Shelton remarked, "I knew what Arthur is capable of, so I had to serve really well." "I performed pretty well, and the idea was to show him that I got as many clean hits on the ball as I could. How I managed to pull off that tiebreak in the second set is beyond me.
