India wins title after beating Bangladesh

India maintained its hold on the SAFF Under-17 championship when it defeated Bangladesh 2-0 in the 2024 edition final on Monday at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan, to retain the trophy.
Mohammed Kaif gave India the lead with a header in the 58th minute, capping a scoreless first half. Mohammed Arbash's blistering left-footed strike in the 90+5 minutes eliminated any remaining challenges for Bangladesh.
