O'Sullivan in control as Wilson and Allen advance

In his attempt to capture a record-breaking eighth global title, Ronnie O'Sullivan got off to a great start, dominating the opening session against Welsh qualifier Jackson Page.

O'Sullivan, 48, is determined to avoid adding to Stephen Hendry's seven Crucible victories. He leads world number 43 Page, 22, by a commanding 8-1 margin.

When the match resumes on Thursday afternoon, O'Sullivan will only need to win two frames thanks to breaks of 54, 56, 81, 122, 66, and 53.
