Ipswich sign forward Szmodics and Phillips

On the eve of their Premier League comeback, Ipswich signed Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City and Sammie Szmodics from Blackburn Rovers.
Szmodics, who scored 27 goals in the Championship the previous season, signs a four-year contract with the Tractor Boys after a deal worth £9 million with add-on bonuses was reached.
