Canadiens make second trade involving Petry within a year, this time with red wings.

Jeff Petry's return to the Montreal Canadiens was short-lived, lasting just over a week.

On Tuesday, the Canadiens revealed that they have once again traded the experienced defenceman,marking the second trade involving him in just over a year. This time, he's headed to the Detroit Red Wings for defenseman Gustav Lindstorm and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2025 as part of the off-season deal.
