Schindler upsets Price for first PDC title

Martin Schindler of Germany defeated Gerwyn Price, the third seed, to win his maiden PDC title at the International Darts Open on Sunday.

Price, 39, holds the record for most wins on the European Tour with four victories total. He was the two-time defending champion.

With support from the home audience in Riesa, 27-year-old Schindler rallied to win 8–5. The Welshman had led the final.
