Panama beats Bolivia 3-1 to qualify for QFs

Panama defeated Bolivia 3-1 on Monday night to secure the second spot in Group C and make history by going to the Copa America quarterfinals for the first time.


In the quarterfinals, Panama will face the victor of Group D, most likely Brazil or Colombia.

In the 22nd minute, José Fajardo scored for the second time in as many games, giving Panama the lead. In the 69th minute, Bruno Miranda knotted the game, moving Panama into third position temporarily behind the United States.
