In the Men's ODI World Cup, Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa tied Muthiah Muralidaran's record for most wickets taken by a spinner in a single tournament.

In the grand final, Zampa, who returned figures of 1/44 in his 10 overs, assisted Australia in booking the formidable Indian batting lineup for a modest total.

When he trapped Jasprit Bumrah plumb in front of him in the 45th over, he claimed his only wicket of the game.
