Tactix dominate Steel in ANZ Netball derby..

Led by new centurion Kimiora Poi, the Tactix have defeated the Steel (52-35) in the first Southern derby of the 2024 ANZ Premiership (Trans-Tasman Netball League). The result extended the Steel's losing streak to 18 games, as they continued to struggle with injuries. Former captain Shannon Saunders was sidelined with a knee injury, and current captain Kate Heffernan only played the first half due to an ankle issue. While the Tactix displayed moments of dominance, especially in the first 30 minutes, they still have work to do if they aim to secure their first ANZ Premiership title.
