Muguruza says players excited to compete

Tournament director Garbine Muguruza told AFP on Monday that the world's best women's tennis players are completely in favor of the contentious choice to hold this year's tour finals in Saudi Arabia.
They all seem really excited, in my opinion. Two-time Grand Slam champion and 2021 season-ending champion Muguruza remarked, "They were all asking me so many questions about what to expect, what to do."
Tennis greats Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova criticized the Gulf nation for its human rights record earlier this year, but she claimed she had not received any concerns from players about traveling there.
