Russian Mazepin wins case to remove EU sanctions

Nikita Mazepin, a Russian racing driver, has beaten EU sanctions imposed in reaction to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Mazepin, who will drive for Haas in Formula One in 2021, and his father's assets have been blocked, and they are barred from traveling.

His father, millionaire businessman Dmitry Mazepin, was considered a close associate of President Vladimir Putin.
