Borussia Dortmund triumphed 4-2 against Heidenheim in a thrilling encounter. Donyell Malen opened the scoring in the 11th minute, followed by Karim Adeyemi's goal six minutes later, giving Dortmund a quick 2-0 lead. Despite Marvin Pieringer pulling one back for Heidenheim in the 39th minute, Adeyemi struck again just before halftime to extend the lead to 3-1. A penalty from Maximilian Breunig in the 74th minute made it tense, but Emre Can sealed the win with another penalty in stoppage time. Dortmund now leads the table, one point ahead of Heidenheim.
