Mata joins Western Sydney Wanderers on 1 year deal

Juan Mata, a former midfielder for Chelsea and Manchester United, has signed a one-year contract to play with Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League.
Following his January 2024 departure from the Japanese team Vissel Kobe, the 36-year-old Spaniard became a free agent.
In 2022, Mata moved to Galatasaray from England, and during his lone season in Turkey, the team won the league.
