'It's time' - Thompson to retire at the age of 29

It has been confirmed that Lexi Thompson will retire at the conclusion of the 2024 LPGA Tour season.

Since being professional in 2010, Thompson, 29, has won fifteen times. The 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship, which is now known as the Chevron Championship, was where she earned her sole major championship.

The 12-year-old American, who has competed for her nation in six Solheim Cups and two Olympic Games, made history in 2007 by qualifying for the US Women's Open at the youngest age ever.
