Wrexham AFC FC Success Story

Back in 2021, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney bought the third oldest club in the world, Wrexham AFC, for €2.5M with one single goal: Get them to the Premier League.

2 years later and after more than 10 season stuck in the 5th Division, the club founded in 1864 got promoted to the EFL League Two, making it back to professional football after 15 years. 🔙

Now, with 2 games ahead in the season and after beating Forest Green Rovers 6-0, they clinched the first ever back-to-back promotion in club’s history and are going up to the EFL League One for the first time since 2004 #efl #england #leagueone
