Laura Muir and Jemma Reekie win gold

Laura Muir won the gold medal in the 3,000 meters on Sunday at the UK Indoor Championships in Birmingham.

With a victory that took place in eight minutes 58.80 seconds, the Olympic silver medallist qualified for the World Indoor Championships, which will be held in Glasgow, Scotland.


Fellow Scot Jemma Reekie, who ran a 1:58.24 800m final to win, will accompany her in March.
