India has rested speed bowler Jasprit Bumrah for the fourth Test against England in Ranchi, which begins on Friday.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stated that the decision was made "keeping in mind the duration of the series and the amount of cricket he has played in recent times".

Bumrah, the world's number one men's Test bowler, is the only frontline fast bowler on either side to have appeared in all three Tests thus far.
