Thompson wins Jamaica's 100m Olympic trials

At the Jamaican Olympic trials on Friday, Kishane Thompson won the 100 meters in 9.77 seconds, making him the joint tenth fastest man in history.

The 22-year-old is in only his second season as a professional, having not raced at all this season prior to the trials.

However, after Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, and Asafa Powell, he is now the fourth-fastest Jamaican in history based on his time.
