Ipswich legend Burley being treated for cancer


The Premier League club has revealed that George Burley, a former Scotland manager and icon of Ipswich Town, is receiving treatment for cancer.
After feeling ill earlier this year, the former Scotland international—who managed the national team from January 2008 to November 2009—was diagnosed.
Burley, 68, made 500 appearances for Ipswich between 1973 and 1985 as a player. He served as Ipswich's manager from 1994 to 2002.
