[Italy]: A #doctor was #sentenced this #monday to a #year of #prison with #suspension for #involuntary #homicide after the death of #davide #astori, Italian international from Fiorentina, who was suffering of an undetected heart defect, media reports. Davide Astori had died at the age of 31 in his sleep on the night of March 3 to 4, 2018. He died in a hotel room in Udine where Fiorentina, the team of which he was captain, was to play a game of championship. His death had aroused great emotion in Italy. The doctor was also ordered to pay an amount of € 1 million to his family.
