Harry Brook to return home from tour

Harry Brook, a batter from Yorkshire, will return home during England's tour of India due to personal issues.

The 24-year-old Brook has quit the team effective immediately even though he was supposed to be in England's starting lineup for the first Test on Thursday in Hyderabad.


Dan Lawrence of Surrey has been selected as his substitute, however Brook may make a comeback at a later point in the five-game series.

The England and Wales Cricket Board remarked, "The Brook family respectfully requests privacy during this time."
